6 Weeks

My Gracie is 6 weeks old today. It seems like she has always been apart of our family ,it is hard to believe she is only 6 weeks old... she is still just a little tiny girl. I love this baby so much, and I am so glad she is ours!

Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend. My mother-in-law came up on Friday and spent the weekend with us. She was sweet enough to get up with Gracie Friday night so that I could get a full nights rest. She even took me to get a pedicure (which I love) for my birthday. I so appreciated that. We had a good Easter Sunday with family. In all the hustle and bustle I didn't get a picture of the girls in their Easter Dresses, but they both looked so cute! Bailey caught on to the Easter egg hunting thing this year which was fun. Here are some pictures from our weekend... enjoy!

Checkin' out what the Easter Bunny brought!
New dress up shoes from the Easter Bunny! She will hardly take them off.
Found an egg (with a boost from Daddy)!
I am so thankful for the life of our Savior. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this true church, and have the knowledge that I do that the Savior lived and died for me. Sometimes in the craziness of each day I forget all that I have been blessed with. I know that it all is through our Savior Jesus Christ. I am humbled by all that he has given me.

**Post Overload**

Ok, there are three different posts below. I have taken pictures of some of the things we have done recently, but have yet to post them. So, now you get three posts in one day... whew!

Park Day

Another nice day. The weather has been so perfect lately, so we took advantage went to the park this week. We left Gracie at home with Dad and Bailey and I had some fun!

Gracie's 1st Bath

No more sponge baths for Gracie girl. She had her first real bath a couple days ago, and let me tell you she enjoys them much more than the sponge bath. Bailey of course had to get in on the action!!I love these girls.

Show Low Trip

I don't get to go home to Show Low that often, but a couple weekends ago I decided I would take the girls and head out. Poor Aaron had to work and could not come with us. We missed him, but had lots of fun. I few pictures from our trip...
Bailey enjoying some good ole' DQ ice cream cone!
Bailey and her cousins. They have LOTS of fun together!
Jes, Jess, and I were finally able to get together this time around.

It was a fun trip, and we are excited for when we get to go back!

Another Year Gone By...

So, today was my 25th B-day. Only 5 years from 30?? I had a great day, and my most favorite part was hearing from all of my family and friends. I got a call from my mom and Dad this morning. They got me a new shower curtain, towels, and bathmat for my girls bathroom. oh, and some very cute shoes! Just what I wanted, and it is so cute. I love it! I will post pics as soon as I get it finished. I have the best parents. I love them so much and am so grateful for all that they do for me. My Grandma "Jack" also called today with her annual singing of "Happy Birthday" which I always love, and she is so good to remember! Love you Grandma.
My awesome sisters called me today also. Sang me Happy Birthday in their B-E-A-U-tiful voices, with Heath in the backround ( I loved it). Yes, they are the best sisters anyone could ask for. They are my very best friends and I miss them dearly. I am hoping I can go visit when Cort has her baby!!
I heard from so many great friends today also.We NEVER get to see each other, but they still are all so awesome to remember me. My sweet friends Jessica Farnsworth, Jesica Williams,Andrea Genet, & Taralee Porter all sent me birthday wishes. Tara, you are such a sweetie for giving me my own post on your blog. I love you, and miss you like crazy. I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO COME TO AZ!
We didn't do anything to exciting today because Aaron worked last night, therefore slept today. Then he had to work again tonight. My mom did come down this past weekend though so that Aaron and I could go out. Everyone needs a mom like mine. THE BEST! We went to dinner at Outback and then went and got my b-day present... a SEWING MACHINE! I am so excited, and have already made my girls a couple of blankets. He also got me a gift cert. for a haricut and manicure. What an awesome guy... Love him! Of course I forgot my camera for everything, so that is why this post is so long. I want to remember it all, and since I have no visuals... well it is words.
So, that is it. Another year down, and ready to take on life at the BIG 2-5!

Thank you everyone for the Birthday Wishes!

Keeping things in Perspective: A note to myself

My 3 week old. The one who wakes me up once or twice a night to eat even though I would love nothing more than to get a full nights rest; is still the one who cries because she just needs her mommy, and it is a great feeling. The one who, when we are out and about always has to eat or have her diaper changed at the most inopportune time; is still the one who makes me smile just watching her sleep. Giving those cute, little, chubby cheeks just that one last kiss.
I love you Gracie!

My 2 year old. The one who can drive me absolutely crazy because she has decided that she does not need to take naps anymore and has begun to throw fits about it; is still the one who can make me laugh out loud with her silly dance moves that she will bust out with no matter where we are. The one who will proceed with a full on tantrum at the worst possible moment and makes me so frustrated sometimes that I cannot see straight; is still the one who always wants a "huggy" from her mommy that makes my day. The one who drives me crazy sometimes because she WILL NOT leave her little sister alone long enough for me to step out of the room; is still the one who continually gives her baby sister so much love and kisses that is makes my heart melt.
I love you Bailey!

My husband. The one who can drive me crazy with some of his wild ideas; is still the one who can make me smile when it seems like things are falling apart. The one who seems like he is NEVER listening to me when the TV is on; is still the one who works so, so hard for our family that I am amazed by him most of the time. The one who seems to never take anything seriously when I want him to; is still the one who honors his priesthood and blesses our family in so many ways.
I love you Aaron!

Family Time

This past weekend my ADORABLE younger sister Cortney and her husband Heath were down from Utah. It was so fun having them here for a few days, and Bailey absolutely loved it. The whole time they were here I didn't see much of Bailey. She hung out with them quite a bit. She is completely attached to Heath. She followed him everywhere. It was pretty funny! I wish I would have taken more pictures of our weekend, but of course I forgot my camera most of the time.
Cortney and Heath... we love you so much and cannot wait until that sweet little baby girl makes her debut so we can come visit.

Guitar Hero is ALL the rage these days.

Cortney and Bailey watching Heath get down with the guitar!

Cortney, Bailey, and Heath... I miss them already!

A Little Project

Just a quick, easy little project that I was able to do a couple of days ago. I made these cute headbands for my Gracie and my sister who is due in May with a baby girl. They were fun to make and so cute. The flower is way to big for Gracie's head at the moment, but in time they will be oh so cute. I will have to find a smaller flower and make another one in the meantime. Things like this are so fun to make, but it seems like I never have the time. I think I should make it more of a regular thing. Craft night once a month... sound good?
